About Me

Hi, I’m Emily! I am a dietitian nutritionist, personal trainer, and lifelong athlete. With over four years of experience as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals improve their fitness, build confidence, and develop a stronger connection to their health. As both a dietitian and an athlete, I understand the challenges of making sustainable changes. That’s why my approach is deeply personal and evidence-based.

I work with YOU to create a plan tailored to your unique history, goals, preferences, and lifestyle, empowering you with the right knowledge and support to achieve long-term results.

My Values

  • Empathy and Individuality: No two people are the same, and your health/ fitness journey should reflect that. I’m committed to understanding your story and helping you navigate change with compassion and support.

  • Evidence-Based Practices: Science and experience guide everything I do. From nutrition strategies to fitness programs, you can trust that my recommendations are rooted in proven principles.

  • Prevention and Longevity: Health isn’t just about looking good – it’s about feeling great, living longer, and preventing chronic illness through balanced nutrition and active movement.

  • Empowerment Through Education: My goal is to not just coach you but to equip you with the knowledge and skills to maintain your health independently for years to come.

Why I Became a Dietitian

Nutrition has always fascinated me because food is so much more than fuel; it’s a powerful tool for improving quality of life, preventing disease, and managing health conditions. My passion lies in helping people feel their best, whether that means supporting them to reduce their risk of chronic illness or achieve specific health and fitness milestones.

My Athletic Journey

I’ve always had a love for movement. My journey started as a national-level gymnast, where I developed strength, discipline, and resilience. Later, I transitioned to triathlon, earning a national title and discovering a passion for endurance sports.

These experiences laid the foundation for my current focus: hybrid sports. Combining the endurance of triathlons with the strength of gymnastics, I’ve found my stride in events like True Grit SA, which I’ve won three years in a row. This year, I’m excited to tackle my first Hyrox event.

Through these pursuits, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for bodyweight strength and hybrid training. It’s an incredible way to challenge yourself, blending power and endurance while staying functional and agile.
